Easter Holiday Club delivered on behalf of New Direction Services.
A massive shout out to our “Official” Food supplier Emily’s Cafe Marsh for making AMAZING healthy and nutritious HOT MEALS for our pupils. Feedback from Kirklees was that the menu FAR SUPERCEEDED the expectations of the Department of Educations Holiday and Food education programme.
Meals were delivered every day and served by Emily’s highly trained kitchen staff. For those of you who do not know where Emily’s is located. It is just accross from the CO-OP supermarket in Marsh. The front of the building is grey.
The New Directions Holiday Clubs are linked with the Marie Duffy Foundation.
It is such a great honour to have our work in Irish Dance respected by the official Lady of the Dance and Michael Flatley’s Choreographer for the highly acclaimed Lord of the Dance show and her foundations trustees. We are looking to sponsor budding dancers shoes where possible through the Holiday Programmes and other outreach work. These two amazing children were awarded shoe scholarships plus a month of dance lessons. The kindness they showed to others throughout the holiday club was such a joy to see.
